what a great

Thanksgiving we had. We had Todd and Di and Glen and the Christian Gang over and we played games and had good food and relaxed and so on. The day before we took pics of the girls ( and a few of us) at the Wetlands park and after I'm done editing all my client photos, you will see more. For now, here's the headlining twosome. Brielle had the Chicken pox the week before Thanksgiving week and now Aria has them. So, i will be at home, editing, sewing decorating and such for the next 4-5 days. So, if you plan on coming by leave your little ones at home. So sad but at least they will be done with them and NOT have to get the shot b/c now they are immune anyways! Luckily too Aria's is milder than B's was.

Anywho, More to come and hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

Peter made his best face playing pirates on the boat.
The twins! Who is who?

aunt Cristi and Brielle. we all loved playing on the Jet Ski! So much rip roaring fun! Brielle especially loved it!)
Aria preferred water that she could put her feet in and splashing or chasing Cali( mom's dog)

My water girls did so great this summer. ISR lessons paid off well!

Re- hasing the summer: Lake Tahoe

So, just getting to Tahoe was a bit of a time as we took the three kids and 3 adults and a bike to the Lake with us all in one car! We dropped Brad off away from where we were going to be and let him bike down to us through the winding trails of the Sierra Nv. Mountain range! A few minutes in, he has a CrAsH!!!He was okay but it left a small gash in his arm. Me and Tirza played with the kids in the water and the sand for a few hours. It was so nice and relaxing. A bit colder than our pool and lake in LV! Still fun nonetheless. I swam out to a buoy and back- good practice for my upcoming Tri at the time. I actually really like OPEN WATER SWIMMING! I guess lots of people have water fears about swimming but, water has always been soothing to me- not scary.

Well, the girls played on borrowed tubes and chased schools of these tiny fishes. Tirza relaxed in the water as She was kind of frustrated that day. Her Dr. Had told her that she was only a couple cm's dilated and she was at her due date. That is the last thing a pregnant woman wants to hear- LUCKILY she had baby Chase that next morning/day! Silly Dr.! what did he know?

Here's more pics of the kids!!!she LOVED her goggles all season long!-she even chased the fish wearing them in case she needed to dive down and catch them up- said she!

look at Owens Muscles! He and the girls had a great time playing and being silly

dads make the best sharks to play chase with!

Too much fun! I already miss the summer and hanging out with the cousins!

re-hashing the summer: Circe Du SO-LAME!

So, growing up in Fallon, i used to see these circus tents go up occasionally and i NEVER got to attend a circus before( except for Ringling Bros. in Reno with a friend) so, when i heard a circus was in town, i thought it would be fun to take the kids. I was thinking tigers and elephants and juggler etc... Well, it wasn't really all what i cracked up to be.

You can tell from the disdain in the children's faces!. There was no big tent, it was broadcast in spanish and english practically at the same time. The kids got in free b/c i picked up some tickets at the car repair shop( then i later saw them everywhere i went) but i ended up paying 30. for 3 adults . It would have been fine but...
Some kids got bored, wanted a red slushie for 6.00(x 6 kids you get it). There were no tigers or elephants. Just a donkey and mini pony.
some ameteur bikers in a ball a wierd, not funny clown, a boy with ropes and whips. In a cowby town that's not that impressive:(
Can you tell how much fun they are having? I kept thinking" i woke up Aria out of her nap for this?" I guess it was a lesson learned.
The acrobat lady was not half bad, thank goodness!
Aria really wanted the Red Slushie drink but, i said no!

The BEST part of the show was seeing the RAINBOWS! There were two( only one pictured) and the kids thought that was the coolest thing of all. Thanks to our Lord for making the Best show on Earth. Here's a Tip: If the tickets are free, there's always a catch and if you see a sign tha says Circus Osorio it really means: Circe Du SoLame! DON'T WASTE your time or money!

Halloween Pics!

So, luckily we did stay home b/c I got pretty sick and had to spend a couple hundred on meds and Aria's wolf costume came in on FRIDAY( finally). It turned out to be so cute and i took it pretty easy all weekend. Here's pics of the girls and their costumes!

trick or treat!

grumpy wolf

SAD/ Pouty wolf ( do't you just want to squeeze her:)??? I think she looks like Peter a lot here when he was younger!

we had to add a bow so no one could mistake her for a BOY wolf. Aria kept growling and roaring at people( too cute) and she ket saying she was a Din-oh-so!

Twik or tweet ( how she says it)

you must pack some flowers for Grandmas basket:)
We had so much fun just going around our little neighborhood. The girls loved it and Aria would not let us dump out her candy a bit so she could carry it better. She ended up just dragging it as much as she could. Brielle opted for Daddy to hold her basket until it was "showtime"!
We are so lucky to have such fun little girls!

The Pumpkin Patch

SO, we didn't get to take our trip up to Fallon( bummer) but, we did take the girls to the parking lot pumpkin patch here. They got to slide, swing, go on rides, in a bounce house and petting zoo too! We had so muvh fun with Gma and Gpa Christian and Uncle Brian! Their Favorite ride was the boat one that swun back and forth. They went on it twice. But, the slide was what the styaed on the most!
Aria got to go twice b/c B was sick one of the times.

Aria got kicked out of the Petting Zoo b/c she kept chasing chickens and making them crazy. She loves to scream in excitement too! Here's few cute shots i got of them before all the excitement!

silly faces! Too cute!

Gabe was so much fun and Uncle Bruces bubbles were a HIT!
Oh boy, when Tirza has a girl- it's over for Brad! He's going to be wrapped around his little girls' fingers! He's such a great father and uncle! Love ya little Brother!

The first week of Pre-school

It was such a great day and Brielle was so stoked to go to pre-school.
Daddy and the girls always wait for me to get out the door and the are normally not seated but on daddy's lap waiting. Moms always come last when it comes to getting ready.

Here's B's teacher Miss Lindsay! She loved class so much about 1 hour after we got back home she asked if she could go back again today:)

Her fav. thing is to wear her back pack in her car seat b/c it means she's going to preschool- so she says!( i made that skirt she's wearing!)
She loves learning and is such a smarty pants! Keep up the good work, little lady!
We love you!

Date Night

Last night we went on a great Date with our friends, Cachay and Joey! It was spur of the moment and was so awesome!
We ate at Black Pepper Grill off Eastern( Formerly White Chocolate Grill)
and then we saw Cirque Du Soliel's Le Reve at the Wynn Theater. I was awe-struck the whole time! The show features on of the world's only water/pool stages and it was incredible how the performers swam and some glided through the air on certain apparatus's. It sometimes had so many things going on at once that my eyes couldn't stay affixed on the main parts but really, every small part played a major role.

There was syncronized swimming in red heels, white suited funny men, red men in skirts doing japanese-ish flips and karate moves. acrobats flipping over suspended tables, lots of good dancing and the moveable floor that rose from the water. It was a spectacle for sure. I recommend it and am grateful for the invite, friends!

I had so much fun and can't wait for another date night with my hubby!
to see more of Le Reve, youtube it!

I must be crazy...

Well, all of those who said: of course you are- this time it's okay b/c i just signed up to run this nutty thing called a Ragnar Relay with my friend Marsha and 11 other people. Check it out. I may be running in your town or by your house even.
During this relay i will run 3 legs in about 28 hours. each leg is anywhere from 3-6 miles each. I asked for the easiest ones since I'm probably the most in experienced runner there.
What have i got myself into. Thanks Marsha:)

Oh and the week after that's over, I plan on doing my first Sprint Triathalon with Marsha too! Man, If this kind of training can't shed off those extra lbs- it has to be my thyroid!

Day after the Party!

We held Aria's B-day Party last night( sat) and she stayed up till about 9:30 that night. Today we went to church like normal and when we got home, i decided to make some snow cones to cool off. SO, i had the girls sit on the tile and eat theirs while i got to sit on the couch( b/c i don't spill anymore:) a few minutes pass and i notice B is almost done with hers and wanting more. I don't hear Aria at all so, i get up and walk around the other couch to find this:

the snow cone worked at cooling her off but the tile was cool too. who could pass that opportunity up to capture her, right?

Brandon wanted in on the action too! Man, she looks like Daddy!

we sure love you BIG GIRL! If you ask Aria is she's a Baby she says" NOOoooo! if you ask her if shes a big girl She says " Yeah! ask her her age and she says" I two!"
Her sentences are like this now" Mommy, mymy ruff ruff loud!" quiet, mymy, stop it, mymy!
She loves bossing the dog around and also hugging Myla! She is still very much obsessed with shoes, babies, puppies. I will have to catch a weeks worth of Aria and her shoe fetish!
Brielle loves being her big sister and teaching her the ropes. She has almost taught Aria how to climb out of her crib but, Aria is short so it's much harder and I'm in no rush this time!

I've decided to put some effort into making thier room more of a priority. Since they've been sharing it, i've put little time into making thier blankets, pillowcases, curtains. BUT Sara has inspired me. I have all the stuff now it's just time to get to work!

so, i never told my sister until the day before...

for the past 2.5 months i have been upping my running to prepare for the 10K that i ran last weekend! my sister, Cristi, wanted to run it and i told her, i'd see her at the finish line cheering her on.
Little did she know, until the day before the race that I'd be running it with her.
On our vacation in Fallon, we ran together and worked out and such, just as i would normally do but a little more running of course. She obviously smoked me, though! Her stride was about 1.8 mins faster, per mile, than mine.

Anyways, my goal was just to not Stop! KEEP RUNNING! so, that's what i did. On July 24th, i awoke at 4am, ate a small breakfast, cleaned out my car in the dark, stretched and at 5:24 Cristi picked me up and we went to Chipeta Way( Research Park) where we started at 6:10am the 6.25 mile race!

I was not in it to WIN, obviously, just to do it! See if i cold push this body more than i have been lately. The shot was fired and off the 2,700+ people went.
Now, i won't go into full details but I'll give you some tips:

Avoid the Honey Buckets before a Race, if you can!

Drink LOTS of Water the day before you race

Don't buy new running shoes until you finish your race!

Be Optomistic and Realistic in your Goals!

Have FUN and don't look back!

So, here's the stats of how i finished:

I was in a special division for those women over 140 lbs. ( shh don't tell) Called the ATHENA division. Out of the 81 women in that division i was #20. Out of my age group i was 151 out of 272.

If you put me in the regular division i would have beat another 813 people as well!

My official chip time was 59.26 mins- an average of a 9.34 min mile.

My sister's was a 8.33 min mile which put her 7+ mins ahead of me in the finish time.

All that is great and fun but i was most excited that i didn't STOP or walk. I grabbed water at the second aid station and continued to run on. It was a great 1st race and awesome experience and i can't wait to do another one soon, and also to be in the regular divisions soon as well.( I'm getting close)

ps( i hate that photo but until wade and cristi get back home that's the one you get. I look like a cow:(:)
