Day after the Party!

We held Aria's B-day Party last night( sat) and she stayed up till about 9:30 that night. Today we went to church like normal and when we got home, i decided to make some snow cones to cool off. SO, i had the girls sit on the tile and eat theirs while i got to sit on the couch( b/c i don't spill anymore:) a few minutes pass and i notice B is almost done with hers and wanting more. I don't hear Aria at all so, i get up and walk around the other couch to find this:

the snow cone worked at cooling her off but the tile was cool too. who could pass that opportunity up to capture her, right?

Brandon wanted in on the action too! Man, she looks like Daddy!


we sure love you BIG GIRL! If you ask Aria is she's a Baby she says" NOOoooo! if you ask her if shes a big girl She says " Yeah! ask her her age and she says" I two!"
Her sentences are like this now" Mommy, mymy ruff ruff loud!" quiet, mymy, stop it, mymy!
She loves bossing the dog around and also hugging Myla! She is still very much obsessed with shoes, babies, puppies. I will have to catch a weeks worth of Aria and her shoe fetish!
Brielle loves being her big sister and teaching her the ropes. She has almost taught Aria how to climb out of her crib but, Aria is short so it's much harder and I'm in no rush this time!

I've decided to put some effort into making thier room more of a priority. Since they've been sharing it, i've put little time into making thier blankets, pillowcases, curtains. BUT Sara has inspired me. I have all the stuff now it's just time to get to work!

Gym n Swim

Here's our girlies!
Aria Finally LOVES to swim and float! Today in her class she splashed and smiled while being challenged to turn and float on her own when she needs a breath! She got out of the pool HAPPY!
It takes a while for little ones to enjoy something new. But once they have confidence in the gained skills- then it's FUN! I can't wait to play with Aria in the pool on Saturday. She loves swimming from person to person or from us to the steps. Remember she's not quite 2 yet.
Brielle had a fun month of gymnastics as she went 2 times a week. The first couple times she loved it. She still likes it but would prefer to swim in this crazy heat.
She loves everything like frog hops and beam work. She' s almost got a kiddo 4 pack abs. She's getting strong! we will resume gymnastics in the fall!

Gotta Love them two! They are both sassy and loving sisters and often times Brielle will come and whine to me that Aria hit her or took something and I'll respond with something like( just to see what she will say or do) " Go hit her back!" Then B will say to me" I don't want to" I ask her why and she says" cuz she's my baby sister and i love her" I am so glad B is such a good girl!

Teey Bits...

O' Sass! Aria is full of energy and Sassiness! She's been swimming all last week and Brielle did 2 trial gymnastics classes. Aria is thinking she can just throw fits all the time but I'm reading up on my Love and Logic tools. I put her in time out at Brielle's gym class. She hated it but made it through and was a better behaved girlie!
Brielle has taught her a bit of sneaky-ness too! what am I going to do with these girls of mine? they make me CRaZy sometimes! Maybe I'm not PREGNANT b/c God knows i couldn't handle three yet. I've got my work cut out for me.

I also figured out what GENES ARIA gets from ME. Since she so dominantly BRANDON, just the fem version. She's got my EYE shape, my cheeks and my LOWER half! Yep, today as i let her run around bottomless in our backyard (to help clear up a small rash) I realized...Hmmm, her legs and booty are JUST LIKE MINE! Just miniature. So, there you have it. Aria is me from the waist down!
Bubble butt and muscular legs. Sorry, future Aria as a teen, just work out and you'll be fine!Love you!

She still has those sweet cheeks i love to munch on and kiss! Brielle was kind of camera shy this time, very weird and unlike her normal self. Hey, we all have those days!
We had such a fun day this last Saturday just doing nothing- almost. We went to the park, made tutus with our neighbors and friends, jumped on the tramp with Daddy and Brielle, made yummy waffles with Blueberries and Bananas, read stories, played playdough and just laughed like kids. Daddy watched the UNLV game with his bro and cousin. And had a fun time watching them barely win.
Then, i woke up Sunday with a worse cold than i had before and an earache. It SUCKED. it's almost gone now. I didn't know adults could get them. It's awful. Anyways, I'll write again later.

Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Muffins, i made the week of Valentines, not on the actual day! We went to IHOP for Breakfast and had fun with the girls. we rarely got out for Breakfast but, thought this would be a fun tradition to start- breakfast out with our kids on Valentine's Mornings! we will try a new diner every Valentine's too!

I'm a good hider, mommy!

we got to see Dawn, Kara and Megan on Valentine's too! It was a great day. I got a massage as well that morning after breakfast. Brandon got his TV and stand and receiver and speakers and so forth. Now he wants a HARMONY remote so, we don't have to have 5 remotes. I don't blame him. I'm not a big sound system person. It's too noisy and it wakes the kids but he's been great about it! The flat screen we got has weak sound compared to our booming huge old 55 inch Big Screen on wheels. Oh, BTW, we are selling that TV for 300. if anyone wants it! It's great Brandon just got a great deal on a 45? inch plasma flat screen. It's really thin, kinda wierd but cool.

I get to get a Double jogger and a bike trailer for my bike. I'm looking at a few right now, Joggers- of course, what i already have the Bob Rev. but i want a Duallie in Black with 12 inch wheels all the way around, the Valco, Dreamer Design, and a couple others. Trailers- I'd love a used Burley, used Chariot, Bell, Trek, really anything gently used or new but not super pricey or super cheap. My sis gave me some good advice on bike trailers! Thanks, Cristi! I'm still looking.

ARIA UPDATE!

Obviously, it's been a while since i updated you all on Aria!!! She's almost 19 months now and is doing great. Her teeth are all starting to fill in a bit. She runs like crazy everywhere and has NO fear of anything. we call her Bruiser and Teeny Bits b/c she is exactly that. She's the smallest of all her friends and won't hesitate to try and get her way. Brielle has to watch her back with her sometimes and we are teaching Brielle to not whine when she takes things from her but to Take it back from her! Heck, She's the OLDER sister.
Aria is speaking tiny sentences like: Mommy baby down! Be-l seeping! Baby seeping nigh night!

No mymy( our dogs nickname) mommy eat food. etc...

She LOVES her baby dolls and Brielle likes dolls too but Aria likes them more. Aria loves humming, singing, dancing to music, playing with big girl shoes, trying to get socks on her feet( that takes about a half hour!) and climbing up and opening things!
she's a doll and lots of cuddles and work. She will be such a great bigger sister someday!

Updating and Labeling

So, i still need to update my header for our blog but that's not really what i want to update you all on. I PUT MY LABELS on our sidebar, So please check out Brielle's to see her 2nd yr pictures and so forth. I'm trying not to repeat too many blog posts about the same thing. But, i kind of already have so, look at her posts and I'll post on some sweet pics of my girl this last year!

Brielle is 38.5 inches tall and weighs 27.5 lbs.
Aria is 25.5 inches tall and weighs 22 lbs.

Me, I'm 5ft 4.5 inches tall and my new body fat measurement is 22.4% Yep! Still losing it!
I started with Nora at 39.6% then i started with Bobby at 26.9%
I lost 8 lbs from when i weighed in last time too! My goal is 18%

Growth is wonderful and so is weight loss!

Like Father, Like Daughter

So, when Brandon was a bitty little boy, he used to fall all the time. He learned to run very soon after he learned to walk. He has kind of a big melon ( custom sized hats usually) and he'd fall straight forward onto that melon of his. Many bruises happened but this was his first big one!Aria has had four bruises so far but this is her first BIG ONE! She did the same thing and used her head instead of her hands to catch herself. She fell on a door track at the sitter's house. I knew  this would happen soon, i was just wondering HOW! Hopefully she doesn't get as bad as daddy did, though!
I must warn you this picture is a bit scary and it's after Brandon had repeatedly fallen on his noggin in the same place. Once, he landed on bricks, once he tried to jump off the church stage and fly like superman and many other Boyish stunts! OUCH! Poor Bitty Brandon!

He turned out alright though. I just put Aria's big flowers on and try to cover that honking bruise for now.

Here it goes! Fallon post 1

So, i will have many posts on my trip to fallon and you are free to roam my other two blogs to see more of what i was doing up there! But One really neat thing happened. My brother, Brad turned 25! Yep, I'm 26 and he's 25. My birthday is in January, you do the math. We are close:)

On his birthday we went to church, went to the Grastiet's home for one last party and then came back to mom and Carl's and Tirza and I made him a delicious Reese's Peanut Butter Dream Cake! It was HEAVEN! If you like peanut butter and chocolate, you'll love this! If you are interested you can call me and I'll give you the 411 on it! It's way more simple than you'd think.

Anywho, in me being SLOW, i for got to tell Everyone something!

Yep, She started walking almost a month ago and she's starting to walk really fast now! She often falls on her bum and her face looks like this!
It's like she's saying" how'd i get here again? I was just up walking and now I'm back here already!"We also got to spend lots of time with our little nephew Owen! He's so adorable and he got the nick name BamBam while he was with us. He likes jumping off things just being a boy! Him and Brielle played pretty well. More on that Later!

Brielle was alseep in the car( doors were open and she was safe!) during the whole party at the Grastiet's so she's not pictured. Sorry Big Brielle Fans. But, there's plenty pics of her to come! More later!

Little known facts!

I have decided that from time to time i will do posts called " Little known Facts" about my girls or my life.  It's just a fun way for you all to get to know us better!

This one is all about ARIA...

Aria LOVES Baby wipes! She will walk around holding one for as long as she can, until it's totally nasty. When i take it away she screams in high tones and sometimes cries like she just broke something. It's sad! Maybe i should just keep them out of her reach. But, how would i keep her occupied when i'm changing her diaper? I give her toys but she goes straight for the wipes container until she gets at least one.  Silly baby!

Aria was born on July 24th of '07 . My labor was great and under 4.5 hours. Brandon said that when he looked at her_ she's an ARIA. B/c we were deciding between Layla and Aria.

And she truly is. Her names is Italian in origin and means a Solo Melody , usually in an Italian Opera. It also means "Lion" and both fit her very well.
She sings itty songs all the time and she squeals with excitement in octaves I've never even heard.

Just a few days ago we were in Trader Joes and Aria got a balloon from the lady and she squealed so loud everyone's ears were pierced by the sound of her glee.

She has been such a great baby and so different from Brielle. i am glad they are so unique and so special i their own ways.

Aria loves banging on anything that makes a noise, singing songs, squealing, playing with the doggies, playing with Brielle and her family, pushing chairs or her car around, eating anything off the floor, waving a baby wipe like a scarf, sucking her thumb, and waving her arms like a maestro.

She says baba, daddy, doggie, puppy, mama, mommy, nana, uh oh, nu huh, nigh nigh and is working on more. She loves climbing the stairs and she has taken about 3-4 steps at a time walking. And i'm glad she's not rushing it. They all grow up too fast.

She's so much fun and when she goes to bed i still get the urge to wake her up so we cn play again or just so i can hold her and cuddle. She's a major cuddle bug and will even cuddle on your leg, a soft toy, a blankie, anything. It's so cute.

We've enjoyed this first year with our little tiny bits, sugar baby, pickle, peanut, snuggle bug, sugies( shu- gees) and all the other multitude of nick name we give her. She makes me so happy to want to have another baby. ( no, that's not news) She has blessed our lives in so many other ways it's hard to name them all.
