So, everything is going well over here. Recovery is almost harder than labor itself. Okay, i take that back but, it is very uncomfortable. I'm healing well and didn't need any stitches (Thank Heavens!!!). Aria is getting the hang of nursing and she slept really well last night only waking up 2 times to eat. Today she had her check up and all well with her too. Yesterday, i had to get the Rhogam shot b/c I'm A- and Aria is O+ blood types. The hospital trip took 3 hours for one tiny shot but it was necessary for me and my blood. The nurse at the hospital was a scottish woman and was super sweet and she told me of her past as a midwife in canada and London and such. She commended me on having my baby at home and said it's pretty normal in most european countries to have babies at home or in a birth center. Well, here's a few pics of our girls and some sweet friends...Melyna and Avery. Thanks for the great massage, Melyna. I'm such a lucky lady to have friends like her!
